About mikroco-wissen.de

The internet portal www.mikroco-wissen.de provides information on vitamins, minerals and numerous other substances that we ingest with food or that are offered as food supplements. Among other things, the following questions are answered: Which foods contain particularly large amounts of a certain substance? Why does the body need a certain substance? What are the consequences of a vitamin or mineral deficiency and what are the health risks of an over-supply? In addition, the individual pages contain the maximum levels of vitamins and minerals in food supplements and in fortified foods as recommended by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
